Who I am
Marie, bilingual (French • English) lifestyle writer, publicist, and photographer in my free time.
Arts and lifestyle blogger since 2013, a heart torn between two countries, and a bilingual brain, I am inspired by everything and everyone surrounding me. I am a fellow writer, a tea drinker and an art lover. Big dreamer, lover of life, hopeless optimistic, I’m a big child who still believes in magic and sparkles some in writing.
I fell in love with London when I was 15 and did all that was in my power to go back on a more permanent basis. When I completed my bachelor’s degree at ESTRI in Lyon in translation, international relations, and applied foreign languages, I crossed the Channel to settle in the British capital, where I did a master’s degree in arts and lifestyle journalism at the University of the Arts London (UAL).
While I was studying, I worked part-time as a press assistant for a London-based PR consultancy, Delilah PR, and started contributing to two major American independent online publications, namely Thought Catalog and The Mighty. Since I graduated at the beginning of 2017, I have worked as a freelance press and marketing intern for the Lift-Off global network of film festivals, and I am currently working as a Student Services Officer & Groups Coordinator at Malvern House London, an English school for international students. Aside this full-time job, I am also co-working with my best friend on the creation of a Berkshire/Windsor-based film festival, and I have recently published my very first book, Photographs, which is up for grabs on my publishing house’s website, Edilivre.com.
