Hi guys,
It’s been a week now that I’m back in France after loads of walking and flat hunting in London. But fortunately, my future flatmate Mayanne (who also happens to be French and from Burgundy) and I eventually found a lovely one to share (not gonna sleep in the street! Haha :p).
During those three days in London you’ve probably already had a glimpse of through my latest video, I was also supposed to attend a very Englishtown event, held by EF Englishtown and the agency Talented Talkers I belong to. But for temporary health reasons, I couldn’t go there and thus was a bit sad not to have been able to go to THE cinema night of the month at the Sanctum Hotel Soho.
Anyway, this three-day trip was intense and felt a bit like a marathon to be honest, but it was really good to have a little break from all the mess at home. In a few words… London is always a good idea!
What I especially like about it – and I’m sure you know what it is – are all these wonderful artists wandering the streets of the city and performing here and there, taking us someplace beautiful, somewhere in the world of their creation. They are the gems of this bustling city and sometimes though, I get mad because some people just don’t pay attention to them, on the only pretext of being too good and so unreachable! (#idiots !!!)
The other big thing I love about London is that in each and every corner, there’s something to inspire you… You’ll get a perfect example of this permanent source of inspiration I’m talking about when you see the photo where there’s a beautiful and very inspiring text sticked on a quintessentially British telephone booth…
Otherwise… we had some well-deserved food…
We paid a visit to Shoreditch, to Covent Garden, as well as to many other beautiful spots of this city…
We laughed… so much!!!
and it was good… it was really good!
