Yesterday & today were my first two days off since the beginning of my internship and, believe me, they were very much welcome!
As you know, today is Bastille Day in France and I nearly spent my entire afternoon editing some photos I took yesterday (including these ones), and after having tutored a middle school pupil for two hours this morning.
And yesterday, I had such an amazing day, which ended with the wonderful fireworks of Bastille day! ⭐
I spent the afternoon with my two best and oldest friends: we took lots of photos, made some cookies, had fun in a magic swimming pool, ate at the restaurant and attended the beautiful Bastille day fireworks of our hometown in the evening,
I just wanted to take advantage of this post to once again thank them for being the amazing persons they are and for doing what they do for me. Thanks for always being here, for accepting me as I am, and simply for being my friends.
This summer, I was fortunate enough to spend Bastille day in France, and even though I’ll very likely be in England on that date next year, I nevertheless hope I’ll be able to make it home for what is one of my favourite days of the year…
I’ve always enjoyed the fireworks and all the magic they possess. Even though I was quite scared of the noise they made when I was younger, fireworks have always made me feel like flowers were blooming in the night sky and then falling on earth in the form of a rain of stars or some kind of fairy dust, come to bring a little bit of magic in people’s lives…
Anyway… I’m wishing you all the happiest Bastille day ever! ⭐
More photos to come on my Instagram account ;) !
