A Little Tour in the Vieux Lyon

Let me take you to the Vieux Lyon (Old Lyon) today like I took my lovely British friend Becky last Thursday!

Indeed, in the evening I headed to Lyon to pick my friend up at the station, after which we went to her hotel leave her luggage before we can eventually go out and have dinner in a very typical restaurant of the town. Speaking of food, I think Becky will agree with me when I say she has never eaten that much and that often before ^^… Well, welcome to France, lovely!

Anyway, after a nice and fun evening, we mostly spent our Friday in the old part of Lyon, called Le Vieux Lyon, which I had actually never visited before. Can you believe it? 5 years in Lyon and I had never been to the most beautiful part of the city. Shame on me!!!

Since it was my first time there, I wanted to immortalise the moment so I took some photos that I hope you’ll enjoy looking at. I don’t know if you’ve personally already been to Lyon and in particular to this old part of the town, and if you have I don’t know what you thought about it, but I personally felt a kind of southern air there, which made me feel like I really was on holidays :D!
