So here I am again today with a brand new post, featuring some photos of one of my friends (Camille –> see the ©s ^^) and some others I found on Flickr (where you can also follow me by the way), so as to introduce you to the brand new Luis Vuitton’s advert I stumbled upon the other day when I was listening to music on YouTube.
This is a new Louis Vuitton advertising campaign, which conjures the original spirit of travel for the next generation. The allure of the unknown, the thrill of exploration, the wonder of discovery — all are captured in a series of stunning images, shot in South Africa by Peter Lindbergh, styled by Carine Roitfeld, and starring models Karen Elson and Edie Campbell.

Here below, you can find the script of the video, which I find brilliant!
Return to a time when travel itself was a destination
getting there was not as important as the experience of going
there’s no such thing as a destination because the journey never ends
my favourite place is somewhere I’ve never been
never ask for directions, just be where you are
don’t believe in borders
dare to move frontiers
TO TRAVEL IS TO LIVE
I mean… the author of this text is so right! I love this Kerouac’s vibe they spread through these words here. It’s simply amazing and I can’t get bored of reading it again and again. Maybe because that’s also how I see things. The importance of the journey more than the destination, the thousands of places to be discovered & the millions of people to be met, and those frontiers that are, to me, only fictional. ‘To travel is to live’ – that’s it; there’s nothing else to say – this is and will remain one of the major mottos of my entire life.
Love, Travel and Get inspired!
xoxo

It’s a wonderful message Marie. One that I wish I was more aware of when I was your age. :)
