Hi everyone! Today I’m publishing a very short post to introduce you to a very nice project that, I think, deserves to come true.
This project I’m talking about involves the the small but beautiful details of East London’s half forgotten Dickensian pubs, which are captured and gathered in a book. But so as to publish this photo album, funds are needed and I really encourage all of you to give at least a pound before Tue, Apr 1 2014 because you know what we say… From acorns grow oak trees. I think it’s a really worth-funding project and I hope that this will have convinced you :).
You all know I’m deeply in love with London and with everything totally British AND these old Dickensian pubs are part of this culture, so this project is very important to me and I hope you, guys, will be as thrilled as I am :)!
Content.
The book documents the back street pubs which, though far from the tourist crowds, offer a unique experience of London’s past.
Surrounded by fog and cobbles a few of these iconic London institutions have managed to survive, tucked away in remote parts of Hackney, Stepney, Whitechapel, Limehouse, Poplar and Bethnal Green.
