It Was a Lovely Sunday :)

A 3-hour drive later and there we were, in Haute-Marne, northern France, where my maternal grandpa lives. As you can guess, I don’t get to see him very often as I’m quite busy at uni… But today, we went to visit him with my brother & father and I must say we were pretty lucky to have a very nice sun with us!

My grandpa had booked a table for four at a lovely new restaurant of the area, so that’s where we all spent a beautiful time together :)

We had a very yummy lunch as you’ll see it looking through the diverse photos and talked about LITERALLY everything! Well, I assume you all know what it’s like to meet someone after a certain amount of time and have thousands of things to tell them (if not more) and I think that’s even truer when it comes to your family :).

Anyway, in this post, you’ll find photos of my lunch (smoked salmon as starter, scallops & vegetables as main course and a mirabelle plums as dessert), a picture of my brother’s dessert (the chocolaty one ^^) as well as photos of my brother, my grandpa and I (Simply… I’m sorry I wasn’t wearing any makeup or anything and still had the dark rings under my eyes).

I hope you’ll have a lovely time reading this article; I hope as lovely as my family and I had today :)

Enjoy and don’t drool over the courses too much ^^

Love always,

I drooled! Smoked salmon is one of my favourite meals. I eat it 2-3 times per week! This one looks delicious!
I can see a special kindness in your grandpa’s eyes. He has a wonderful aura. It was wonderful for you all to spend some time together like this. Great times, great memories.
