Read my first post for Smitten by Britain >>HERE<<!
As a few people already know, I’ve got very exciting news to share. I would have liked to publish this post before, but I couldn’t find time to do so…
Right. So the big news is my first publication on the SO British blog, Smitten By Britain! Smitten By Britain was granted the title of ‘the world’s first blog for Britophiles’ (2008) and is run by Melissa, a proud American Britophile (and not Anglophile, please! An Anglophile is someone who admires England and English culture and a Britophile, as you can guess, is a very more specific term).
As far as I’m concerned, I have a very sincere and deep love for England but also for the whole English-speaking world, so I might actually be more of an Anglophile than Britophile (slightly more though!). On her blog, Melissa writes her love for Great Britain and shares her passion about everything British. She also welcomes other bloggers, all very much in love with the beautiful land of Albion, and who regularly publish blogs dealing with all of the aspects of Britishness!
I am more than delighted to share my love for Britain through guest posts I’ll have published as an expat on Melissa’s Smitten By Britain :) I’m so happy she accepted me to be a guest blogger! I mean… I’m French, still quite young and I’m still improving my English, which is not my mother tongue, so… as a matter of course, not perfect (but I’m slowly getting there… without never reaching it but that’s THE rule for perfection; you never really reach it).
C. JoyBell C. once wrote “You’ve got this life and while you’ve got it, you’d better kiss like you only have one moment, try to hold someone’s hand like you will never get another chance to, look into people’s eyes like they’re the last you’ll ever see, watch someone sleeping like there’s no time left, jump if you feel like jumping, run if you feel like running, play music in your head when there is none, and eat cake like it’s the only one left in the world!” I took my chance by applying for being a guest blogger on http://www.smittenbybritain.com and I’ll keep on taking chances, related to every aspect of my little life. I am a passionate person and I’ll always everything that is in my power to make my dreams come true :)
For those of you who haven’t read my first guest post as an expat…
