Ah, ces Anglais!

ah ces anglais! This is an article I initially wrote in French as part of my application as the the editor-in-chief assistant at My Little Paris… Unfortunately, my application was not successful due to the starting date of the placement :/ I’ve been a little ‘despaired’ for a while but I think I’ve now found another internship I’ll tell you more about when I can :) I hope you’re all doing well; when you read this article, I’ll be lost in revisions ^^ I hope you won’t be too mad at me for not having much time to write on here but I had to go back to some very ordinary and basic business :/ !  I hope you’ll enjoy this article and I hope I’ll come back very soon ;) xoxo

“British people never do anything like us, British people have absolutely no notion of what refined cuisine is, British people here, British people there…” Yes! But we do love them anyway… and – between us – what would we do without them?! Enemies today and lovers tomorrow, French and British are inseparable!

In France, those who have experienced the delights and the customs, and tried the cuisine (yep, that as well!) of this country can’t live without them anymore!

Teatime scones, unavoidable Cadbury chocolates, some sherry and an abundance of ciders, jelly, marmite (still a very debated topic, I know!), eggs-and-bacon breakfasts, Easter hot cross buns, cheddar, pudding… so many things we struggle to find once we’re back in France!

Well, especially for you, dear expats back to your homeland, l’épicerie anglaise in Paris is YOUR solution! Founded in 1993, this shop provides a wide range of typically British products, which will surely please your tasting buds and bring you back to your dear land on the other side of the Channel.

Enjoy!

Enjoy !
