I hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving weekend… for those of you who are used to celebrating it :)
This post was supposed to be published yesterday since it was still November but my terrible schedule and lack of time has once again got me stuck :/
This is the “official” November InstaMagic – I say “official” ’cause there’ll be another one but this other one will be dedicated to London so it’ll be published a bit later :) In this issue, you’ll stumble upon my Halloween-spirited photos: from pumpkins to Harry Potter and without forgetting the arrival of a new kitten at home, you’ll relive the past month in its most beautiful entirety!
At the end of this article, you’ll also stumble upon a special collage dedicated to Carrie’s Book Club Box of November, in which there were a vintage mirror, a vintage little box, a great bookmark, a Belgian hot chocolate and a fortune cookie… and a letter from Carrie :) I ordered this box out of simple curiosity: I mean a box revolving around the theme ‘BOOKS’ I could not possibly not like it… which is why I’ve already ordered the christmassy December box as a personal treat for the upcoming festive season :D
Hope you’ll enjoy this post! Have a lovely day and I shall see you around ;) xoxo
You are the best part of all the songs I love. – Iain Thomas, I Wrote This For You
“If you want to really hurt your parents, and you don’t have the nerve to be gay, the least you can do is go into the arts. I’m not kidding. The arts are not a way to make a living. They are a very human way of making life more bearable. Practicing an art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow, for heaven’s sake. Sing in the shower. Dance to the radio. Tell stories. Write a poem to a friend, even a lousy poem. Do it as well as you possibly can. You will get an enormous reward. You will have created something.” – Kurt Vonnegut
“I have pretended to go mad in order to tell you the things I need to. I call it art. Because art is the word we give to our feelings made public. And art doesn’t worry anyone.” – Iain S. Thomas, ‘I Wrote This for You’
