Definitely my favourite time of the day and since it’s Friday and I don’t have much classes on that day, I usually have a proper TEA TIME. This one here is sort of a Britench or Fritish one. With a very nice cup of tea (British vibe) and some delicious macaroons (French vibe!), it totally represents who I am – French-born & British-hearted ^^!
Concerning tea, I think I can honestly say I’ve become such an expert in tea-making! My six months in England have definitely taught me how to make a proper cup of tea and if it’s not being too pretentious… I’d even say I can make them like a real Brit now! :p
Tea is just the best remedy to any pain and daily troubles! “As far as her mom was concerned, tea fixed everything. Have a cold? Have some tea. Broken bones? There’s a tea for that too.”, Aprilynne Pike once wrote. And it’s so true!!! Tea is, at least as far as I’m concerned, the sweetest comfort there can be :D!
A bit sad? A bit depressed? Headache? Stomach pain? Take a cup of tea!!!
There’s sincerely nothing tea can’t heal! Plus, it is such a lovely way to gather the people you love and chat for hours with them drinking tea and eating biscuits (… or whatever you fancy actually^^). Haven’t I told you this already?!
BEST TIME OF THE DAY!
Now tell me… What’s YOUR favourite tea? Blueberry, Raspberry, Ginseng, Sleepytime, Green Tea, Green Tea with Lemon, Green Tea with Lemon and Honey, Liver Disaster, Ginger with Honey, Ginger Without Honey, Vanilla Almond, White Truffle Coconut, Chamomile, Blueberry Chamomile, Decaf Vanilla Walnut, Constant Comment and Earl Grey…?
(this is just a quote I stumbled upon today and I relate quite easily to :D And… I thought this article was the best place where I could share it ^^)
Love always, sweethearts,
