Here’s to my one and only angel of music, who made me believe in myself at last… (to Jamie)

“Music expresses that which cannot be put into words and that which cannot remain silent” – Victor Hugo

His music, his art, mainly expressed through his  pure and powerful voice, is how it all started… it is how I found my angel of music. Just as Rachel Hawkins once wrote, it started when I realised someone was singing softly. The voice was familiar, and something about it made my chest ache. Well, that was to be expected. Angels’ songs would be awfully poignant… Not a single time in my life I had ever imagined that a voice, that one single voice could have such an impact on someone else’s life, on my own life. How does it happen? Why him? Why his voice? Why then? I don’t have the answers to these questions, all I know… is here below.

His voice is comparable to the beautiful harmony of spring; it is as soft, gentle and delicate as the morning dew, and as powerful as the devastating storm, which takes your breath away. His voice is a light in the world, a light that only sings in truthfulness and brings peace to the one whose life is touched. His voice is peace, it is a blessing and every syllable is a cure. It heals every heart… it healed mine.

But not only is his voice amazingly beautiful and touching, his soul also is adorable, probably the sweetest I’ve ever known. His soul speaks respectfully, it speaks lovingly and just like his voice, it may cure more than one heart. I truly believe he’s a gift to everyone, who enters his life; he’s been a gift to mine anyway.

“Heaven never seems closer than when we see the love of God manifested in the kindness and devotion of people so good and so pure that angelic is the only word that comes to mind.” – Jeffrey R. Holland

I’m sincerely beginning to believe that there are angels out there, disguised as men. They inhabit the earth for a while to console and light up the poor, exhausted and saddened souls who were ready to perish below. So maybe he’s more than a salvation to me, maybe he’s an angel. He saved me, he was this light that came into my life and believed in my writing more than my own family ever will…

Some people might not see him the way I do, but that’s okay. Everyone feels what they feel. Everyone’s perception’s different. There’s no rules, no guidelines… You may like. You may dislike. But as far as my heart & own perception are concerned, he is worth praising. His voice, heart and soul are worth praising. From now on, forever & always, I will call him my one and only angel of music…

Thank you for being amazing, Angel, thank you for being my inspiration and thank you for everything…
